Born to missionary parents in Nigeria, Dave is a graduate of Bryan College and Dallas Theological Seminary. He has served as lead pastor since Ore Creek was founded in 1998. Dave and his wife, Kathy, have three grown children and one grandchild.
Gabe and his wife, Sarah, are former missionaries to Ukraine. A Biblical studies major from Simpson University, Gabe has taught Bible and history at a nearby Christian school. His life verse is John 3:30 - "Jesus must increase and I must decrease."
Worship Arts Director
Alan and his wife, Cheryl, have led worship at Ore Creek almost from our earliest days as a church. The two have been singing together since they were both just 15 years old. Alan's other creative passions include photography and woodworking.
Erin has degrees in chemical engineering from UNH and Northeastern. In middle school, she became aware of the personal nature of God's love for her. She's been learning what it means to lean into that love ever since. Erin and her husband, Tom, have three adult children and a granddaughter.
Amy graduated from Oakland University with a degree in business. Amy, her husband, Eric, and two sons, David and Jonathan have been attending Ore Creek since 2017. Amy loves reading, camping, and playing games with her family and friends.
Children's Ministry Coordinator
Julie's degree in Christian Ministry Leadership is from Spring Arbor University. She has taught history and Bible at a Christian school. Her experience spans pre-K through 12th grade. Julie loves kids and is passionate about teaching them about God and His word.
Men's Ministry Coordinator
Jordan is a farm boy from Indiana. He met his wife at Cedarville University, served in the Air Force, and now has three beautiful children. "I’m always dumbfounded that God invites me into His presence (Hebrews 10:19-23) despite my weakness & failures. I hope to enjoy that truth with as many men as will dare believe it for themselves."
Women's Ministry Coordinator
Elaine's heart for women grew from her own struggles as a wife and mother and the life-changing relationships she's had with female mentors. She longs to share the comfort she's received with other women and to teach about the freedom, peace, and help that can be found in God's truths.
Women's Discipleship Coordinator
Sarah is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute. She and her husband, Gabe, served as missionaries in Ukraine for four years. They have three kids. Sarah loves sports, reading, music, solitude, and encouraging others to grow in their relationship with the Lord.
Don and his family came to Ore Creek from Grace Church in 2001. Don's desire is that we be a congregation that lives by the example of Christ's love and hope in our personal relationships, professing Him as our light, our hope, and our joy. May we boldly proclaim that we are nothing and have nothing of any lasting value except Him.
David is the executive director of Wildwood Ranch, a summer camp and youth development ministry the Detroit Rescue Mission. David's dream for Ore Creek is that the church would be "a launching pad enabling, equipping and empowering people to meet the needs in the lives of those around us."
